Ivo van Hove’s version of Visconti’s The Damned. Warning: this production comes with an advised minimum age of 16. There is a lot of violence in this production, as well as explicit nudity and sexual assault. Also contains less than subtle hints about one of the lead characters being a pedophile and even though you don’t actually see what happens, his interactions with the children in the show are very uncomfortable to watch as it's very clear what is happening/about to happen. This production also uses strobe lights, loud music, sound effects. |

Minimal wandering and unfocusing, a few very brief blackouts. Some action on the far right and some of the projections are cut off due to the angle. Death of a Salesman
Broadway | 1999 | VOBs + smalls Cast: Brian Dennehy (Willy Loman) Notes: Proshot performance filmed for Showtime. This was officially the third Broadway revival. The show ran only from Feb 10-Nov 7, 1999. Ron Eldard took over the role of Biff on August 4, 1999. So this performance had to take place between Aug 4-Nov 7, 1999. It was broadcast on Showtime in 2000, but was not filmed then. |
Vienna Theatre Company | May 2022 | TheatreCouple14's Master | MP4
Cast: Tom Flatt (Willy Loman), Gayle Nichols-Grimes (Linda), Michael Angeloni (Happy), Patrick Killoran (Biff), Ric Andersen (Bernard), Erin Gallalee (The Woman), Steven Rosenthal (Charley), Eric Storck (Uncle Ben), Reece Smyth (Howard Wagner), Amanda Ellis (Jenny/Letta), Paul Smith (Stanley), Nicole Koluder (Miss Forsythe) Notes: Great wide-shot phone boot of a local production of this serious, thought-provoking show. All action captured well. Actors only missing when they're off the raised stage (less than 5% of the show). Some scenes slightly darker when the stage lights aren't strong. Really great performances from these actors. Never to be sold. Gifting encouraged. |

Broadway | January 2, 2015 | SJ Bernly's Master | VOBs + smalls Cast: Glenn Close (Agnes), John Lithgow (Tobias), Lindsay Duncan (Claire), Martha Plimpton (Julia), Bob Balaban (Harry), Clare Higgins (Edna) Notes: A great capture of the play’s Broadway run. The whole cast gives stellar performances. There are a couple quick dropouts in act two and a couple places where it wanders for a few seconds, but is shot well overall. There are also some heads that can occasionally be seen at the bottom of the screen, but they never block the action. The show is three acts on three discs. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes playbill scans |

The Devil Wears Prada
Chicago | July 2022 | allisforgiven's Master | MP4 Cast: Beth Leavel (Miranda Priestly), Jessie Hooker-Baily (u/s Andy Sachs), Javier Munoz (Nigel Owens), Megan Masako Haley (Emily Charlton), Christiana Cole (Lauren Hunter), Tiffany Mann (Kayla Ward), Michael Tacconi (Nate Angstrom), Terrance Spencer (u/s Christian Thompson), Kyle Brown, Olivia Cipolla, Jojo Carmichael, Tyrone Davis Jr., Audrey Douglass, Hannah Douglass, Madison Fendley, Cailen Fu, Michael Samarie George, Henry Gottfried, Marya Grandy, Liana Hunt, Amber Jackson, Carlos A. Jimenez, Chris Jarosz, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Anthony Murphy, Jim Ortlieb, Johnny Rice, Sawyer Smith, CJ Tyson. Notes: Phone boot. This is a full stage shot. There is a bar that obstructs the bottom left corner of the stage, but never obstructs any of the action. The full show is captured, including curtain call. This boot suffers from lots of washout. The Runway set was completely white, so those scenes are the worst, but the action can still be seen. Act two is, for lack of a better way to put it, a blurry mess. While the whole stage was captured, none of it is in focus. Again, all the action is there, just blurred. The master did their best to clean everything up, but see screenshots for an idea of the blur/washout situation. There's a bit of wandering and jumpiness, but for the most part the stage is in frame the entire time. Good audio throughout! |

Cast: Christiana Cole (Lauren Hunter), Megan Masako Haley (Emily Charlton), Beth Leavel (Miranda Priestly), Taylor Iman Jones (Andy Sachs), Tiffany Mann (Kayla Ward), Javier Muñoz (Nigel Owens), Micheal Tacconi (Nate Angstrom), Christian Thompson (Christian Thompson), Kyle Brown, Olivia Cipolla, Tyrone Davis Jr., Audrey Douglass, Cailen Fu, Michael Samarie George, Henry Gottfried, Marya Grandy, Jessie Hooker-Bailey, Liana Hunt, Amber Jackson, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Anthony Murphy, Jim Ortlieb, Johnny Rice, Sawyer Smith, Terrance Spencer, CJ Tyson, Jojo Carmichael (s/w) Notes: Closing performance of the chicago tryout. The opening number is pretty shaky due to late audience members. There’s a blackout when andy is first talking to emily, and then another in miranda’s office both from late arrivals. As usual some wandering and washout but overall this is a very solid video with more wideshots than usual. The sound on the mp4 file has been replaced with the audio taken on the master's phone, but the mts files have the original audio that fizzes out when the songs are too loud. |

Acouple heads at the bottom, but they don't block anything. Very steady, no washout, and the sound is excellent. Lots of wide shots for the dance numbers, as well as a mix of mediums and close-ups for conversational bits. Includes curtain call. |

Claudia Kelly (Envoy’s Wife), David Bingham (M.C.), Stephanie Colburn (Zog), Deborah Hecht, Terry Walsh, Alison Reddihough, Gavin Warwick, Paula Tappenden, Oliver Gray Notes: The show played a 20 city tour during the Spring and Summer of 1989. Jon Pertwee played the role of The Doctor from March 23 - June 3, 1989. The London dates for this production were March 23 - April 01, 1989, which would place this recording in that time-frame if it was indeed captured there. Rather poor resolution with parts that are very difficult if not impossible to make out. Audio seems ok for its age. |
UK Tour | June-August 1989 | TS
Cast: Colin Baker (The Doctor) Notes: Sometimes listed incorrectly as London. Colin Baker played The Doctor in ten cities, from June 6 to August 19, 1998. London was not one of them, which means this could not have been recorded there. Seems to be decent quality for its age but by no means a gorgeous recording. |

Dog and Pony
San Diego | June 7, 2014 | VOBs + smalls Cast: Nicole Parker, Jon Patrick Walker, Heidi Blickenstaff,Beth Leavel, Eric William Morris Notes: First act is blind shot with no zooms, but well captured in spite of that with most of the action is there and just the extreme sides being blocked by two heads. Act two is much better, filmed with the normal zooms and following the action well; the heads are still there on the right and left, but they only block the actors feet; no washout, no blackouts, and good sound |

Dracula: Mina's Reckoning
Scotland, Liverpool and Coventry Tour | September 2023 | MP4 Cast: Danielle Jam (Mina), Liz Kettle (Dracula/Jean), Ailsa Davidson (Lucy/Elsie), Catriona Faint (Jonathan/Annie), Maggie Bain (Dr. Seward/Georgina), Ros Watt (Renfield/Kit), Natalie Arle-Toyne (Van Helsing/Titchy), Anne Lacey (Mr. Swails/Bella) Notes: Proshot. Dracula: Mina's Reckoning is an incredibly interesting and thoughtfully feminist retelling of the classic story 'Dracula' by Bram Stoker. It reintroduces the female characters not as side characters to men; but as their own people with thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Mina Murray (Danielle Jam) leads the show, vividly describing and portraying the constraints of being a woman in Victorian Scotland, which is a recurring theme throughout. Mina's Reckoning is told in a mix of English and Scots, with many characters speaking the dialect of Doric, but care is taken to ensure the play is still easily understandable to non-Scots speakers. |

Taken at the same theatre where my RENT video was captured. This was an amazing show to bring in the holiday spirit and to have some fun. Very hilarious performance from Cody, he was perfect for this role. Some lines from Cody just had me laughing. Amazing to see the mix of adults and kids in this cast. It was a sold out crowd at this performance which is why there is some obstructions and there is some dropouts but, not for too long. There were a lot of kids in the audience and you may hear some kids make remarks but, it doesn’t disrupt much in the show. Amazing performance in all general and spectacular show as well. Side Note: Due to the recording limit on my camera, there may be what you think would be a glitch after songs. This is just me pressing stop and pressing it immediately again. Nothing is really missed in the recording. |

Eurydice
The Metropolitan Opera | December 4, 2021 | MKV Cast: Erin Morley (Eurydice), Joshua Hopkins (Orpheus), Jakub Józef Orlinski (Orpheus's Double), Barry Banks (Hades), Nathan Berg (Father) Notes: The myth of Orpheus—who takes a perilous quest into the Underworld to rescue his beloved, Eurydice, only to lose her a second time on their trip back to the land of the living—has inspired operatic composers for centuries. During the 2021–22 season, the Met unveiled an inventive new take on this classic tale from American composer Matthew Aucoin, who worked with playwright Sarah Ruhl to reimagine the story from the heroine’s point of view. In this spellbinding Live in HD transmission, soprano Erin Morley stars in the title role, joined by baritone Joshua Hopkins as Orpheus and countertenor Jakub Józef Orlinski as his otherworldly double. The remarkable cast also features high-flying tenor Barry Banks as Hades and bass-baritone Nathan Berg as Eurydice’s compassionate father. Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin is on the podium to lead the Met Orchestra and Chorus in an explosive score that brings the Underworld to life like never before. Pro-shot. |

Seoul, South Korea | July 15, 2020 | AVI
Cast: 조권 Jo Kwon [2AM] (Jamie), 최정원 Choi Jeong Won (Margaret), 김지민 Kim Min-ji (Miss Hedge) Notes: 19 files altogether which are dated July 16th, but the date stamp on the actual video is July 15th. Also, casting information online seems to confirm that a different actor played Jamie on the 16th, suggesting that the files have been mislabelled. This video also gets listed as July 19th due to the casting being the same. VERY LIMITED TRADE: 3:1 video ratio. Standard 1:1 ratio for other Korean productions. |

The shot is slightly slanted at times and the top of one audience head can be seen but nothing is missed. |
